FAQs

How do I apply?

Applications are completed online through the registrar’s office. A link to the online application is provided here.

What can I do with a BSc in Neuroscience?

The majority of neuroscience students are interested in further studies, either graduate studies in neuroscience or a professional program such as medicine. If you are curious about more specific program options, feel free to contact us at neuro@ualberta.ca for more information.

How much will my tuition be?

Tuition and scholarship information is found here.

How do I leave the program?

Apply to transfer to another program, and be sure to speak to the neuroscience program coordinator (honneuro@ualberta.ca) as well as the program coordinator for the program you are interested in switching into.

How do I get re-admitted?

If you exceed the GPA requirements, you can apply for readmission. It is recommended that you do your best to mirror the neuro program by taking Physl 210 instead of Physl 212/214 and Anat 401 instead of Neuro 375. Readmission is considered on a case-by-case basis.
